If you get an early morning boat to Nusa Penida, having brunch might be the first thing you want to do, before being picked up by a driver. As you can never trust the boat schedule, a breakfast also serves as a nice buffer in your our schedule.
Sunny Café is located in Toya Pakeh in the northwestern part of Nusa Penida just a five minute walk from the pier. If you go to the main road, you will find many cafés, but Sunny Café is worth my recommendation. Just look for the black sign with a yellow flower on it.
The café serves great food, has a bathroom but no aircondition, as it is open to the outdoors. It is open most of the time, and serves both breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Tip: You HAVE to try the smoothie bowl in Bali at some point!

Where to stay?
We chose to stay in the middle of the Island, at a hotel called The Dara Hill. It was cheap, and made it convenient to rent a scooter on our second day to continue. There wasn’t anything else in the area, so if you don’t like it remote, you may want to stay near some of the harbor cities.
