The last week in Iceland we drove from north eastern Iceland along the coast back to Reykjavik. On the way we saw seals, horses and a bunch of waterfalls. Iceland Roundtrip Part 1
Iceland is perhaps the most unique and most beautiful nature experience I have ever had. I got to experience an active volcano, glaciers, hot springs, lagoons, geysers, waterfalls, icebergs, beautiful hiking trails, unique animals and much much more. We drove around the island for two weeks, and slept in a tent on the roof. This is just the first part of the story, filled with many amazing experiences and pictures.

Scotland – Beautiful Highland Plains
Scotland is mostly famous for the Loch Ness Monster, Bagpipes, Kilts and Whiskey. We went in 2017, and were stunned by it's nature and beautiful highlands and even mountains. We went hiking, saw cliffs and waterfalls, castles and ruins and of course tried the local whiskey.

Sekumpul Waterfall (Lemukih)
Sekumpul Waterfall is one of the larger waterfall attractions, and the waterfalls in the Lemukih area is incredibly beautiful. You will need to pay an entrance fee, but you do also get excellent guide service here. You can pick from different tours, and it is possible to both swim, jump and slide. You will need to hike up and down a steep trail and walk through water, but the walk is not very far and totally worth the trouble. You can change into swimming clothes there.

Munduk Waterfall
Munduk Waterfall or Air Terjun Munduk, is one of the smaller waterfalls and also a cheaper one to visit. There is plenty of hiking in the area. It is very close to Banyumala Waterfall or Twin Falls, so if you are already here, you may want to consider swinging by Munduk

Campuhan Ridge Walk
Campuhan Ridge Walk is a beautiful and very accessible hiking trail with it's trail head very close to the center of Ubud. The hike is about 3,7 km out and back with an elevation of just 110 meters. The path is paved with large tiles, and you can walk it in either direction, and arrange for a ride to take you home from either end of the trail. It can however get very hot and humid in Ubud and the hike provides very little shade, so do bring plenty of water and consider going early in the day.
