Chasing the snow
The last couple of days it has been pouring (which is great, cause that means snow on the hills), but today was nice and sunny. From the morning you could see the snow covered mountain tops around us which has made everyone excited for the winter. There was no snow in the valley though, so I decided to hike up the mountain to find some snow .I could feel the temperature drop the higher I got, and I clearly felt when the temperature dropped to zero. Vancouver Island
I went to Vancouver Island to see a friend, and the Island was much more American with massive halloween decorations and large pickup trucks. Victoria however was very British, and the surrounding areas provided some beautiful nature experiences for hiking.

Campuhan Ridge Walk
Campuhan Ridge Walk is a beautiful and very accessible hiking trail with it's trail head very close to the center of Ubud. The hike is about 3,7 km out and back with an elevation of just 110 meters. The path is paved with large tiles, and you can walk it in either direction, and arrange for a ride to take you home from either end of the trail. It can however get very hot and humid in Ubud and the hike provides very little shade, so do bring plenty of water and consider going early in the day.

Guyangan Waterfall
Guyangan Waterfall is not a traditional waterfall but it is a fun and challenging hike and the view is magnificent all the way down! Once you make it down, you will see the temple, and get to cool off in the three natural infinity pools.

T-Rex Cliff / Kelingking Beach
The T-Rex Cliff is probably the most photographed place in Nusa Penida or perhabs the entire Bali, and it is not without reason. The cliff is beautiful, and as it extends far into the ocean, you can get a perfect view of it from above. The cliff is shaped like the head of a ginormous T-rex, which is why it has gotten this name. Below the rock is a beautiful white sand beach and saphire blue water, which makes the view perfect for a photo.
